I heard a whisper from a friend to be-
“He shall not live long, is certainly a
a heartache to be”.
You cared not a word….of what was said.
Picked me up gently and walked away instead.
From a pet, to a friend, to a child,
I soon leaped.
Your shadow, your sun, I soon became.
The days unfurled, the nights waned,
We woke up and walked again.
The hand that fed me, the hand that caressed me,
One day I found no more awaiting.
My friend to be, hastened to me,
“No one lives long, and is certainly a
a heartache to be”
They say your abode is heaven.
I know not where heaven lies,
I believe not if it exists.
They say you may reside in idols.
I look deep, and feel, I see you,
I believe not what I see.
They say you reside not in idols, but
In every being, every creation that I see.
I look within and without,
I believe not, I doubt, if you reside within me.
They say I am a lost cause.
I know not culture, tradition or sense.
I believe not what they say is true.
You reside not far without,
nor far within me.
Shimmering and shining,
an exquisite ethereal light flowing through me.
Here, I am sat,
Invisible to you,
Yearning for an awakening,
That will sail me through.
Whereto? You ask me,
Whereto? I ask myself.
A shore, any shore…away from this shore.
A Place Magical
A place magical,
Read in books and painted in imagination.
A magical life,
a story of adventures and friendships forged for life.
A place for books, literary and divine;
a place where the intellect comes alive.
“Seek and ye shall find”,
and surely, I did find.
A place magical, where my intellect came alive.
A place I forged friendships I will remember a lifetime.
A place I read books disturbing and profound.
A place that has changed me forever,
a place my heart will stop yearning for never.
You See Me
It is so simple for all of you to read me.
You know what I think,
you know what I believe,
you know what motivates me,
you know me in and out.
My smile is my answer.
My dear, there is a world within me.
You Will Be Loved Always
A calm serene place of escape.
Where the seas, the sky and the mountains,
are one with each other.
